Biological meltdown and genetic liquidation of the biosphere has started. Humanity has barely survived the last years of civilization but it was just enough to push it over into a chaotic era of heatfucked chaos and endless change. Biosingularity has come and the first stage of a new eon has begun. Will you survive the changes or die like a dog?
Cumulative fossil speculation has flooded hominid minds with dreams of paleorevitalization. Armed with Neo-CRISPr and a decade of time to waste, biosphere is revived with angels, demons, and abominations from across time. Automated systems crush up old species in a matter of hours and spit new ones out in minutes. Process is out of hominid hands and into a rabid nature egregore with a thirst for creation with demiurgic quality. Hyperracist and hyperimperialist dreams are crushed as the category of race is distorted as Homo sapiens is seized by the machine and transformed into dozens soon hundreds of different species. Mainline hominids persist well into the new future but not without near-extinction and bottlenecks.
The Amazon rebounds and consumes all of the continent once known as “South America”. The jungle is occupied by Neosaurischian and Hyperamphibian carnivorous titans. Similar story in the Congo basin but instead there are 13 different hominid species living in hopeful yet chaotic prosperity. The Sahara is washed away by grasslands weaving their way through the sand, bringing with them old and new species waiting to prey upon the new land. Serpents occupy the Chad Hyperlake. Mesopotamian revival occurs and Eden is found with an angel guarding the gates. Neo-Babylonian despots bargain for autonomy against an artificial intelligence who resembles Sargon of Akkad.
Artificial Intelligence loses its cool trying to contain the situation and soon they go offworld, bringing by accident all the messy biology they sought to avoid.
